Every photograph on this site is listed here with its photographer, licence and original source.
Illustrative photographs are not KWAVE’s own. The photographs below are licensed editorial photographs chosen to show the wider setting of rural life and women’s work in India. They do not show KWAVE’s activities, programs or beneficiaries, and the people pictured are not described as KWAVE participants. When the Association supplies its own authorized photographs, they replace these.
All of these photographs are shared under Creative Commons licences through Wikimedia Commons. We have cropped and resized them, and converted them to web formats. Under the CC BY-SA licence, our modified copies are shared under the same licence.
