Privacy notice

What happens to your details when you write to the Association through this website, and your choices.

Pending review

This page describes how this website works. It has not yet been reviewed by the Association’s authorized representative or a legal adviser, and may change before the site is announced.

Who we are

This website is run by Kherki Woman and Village Empowerment Association (“the Association”). You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect, and why

This website does not collect or store any personal information. It has no database and no user accounts, and nothing is collected just by reading the site.

The contact, volunteer and partnership forms do not send your details to this website. When you press the send button, the form opens your own email app with your message already written and addressed to the Association. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the type of enquiry and your message.
  • Volunteer form: your name, how you prefer to be contacted, your email or phone number, the area you are interested in, and optionally your location, availability and a message.
  • Partnership form: your organization’s name, a contact person’s name, email, optional phone number, the type of collaboration and your message.

Whatever you choose to send arrives in the Association’s email inbox, and is used only to read and answer your enquiry. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them.

What we do not collect

  • No payments or card details. This site does not take donations.
  • No advertising or analytics trackers, and no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from this site.
  • No cookies.

Who can see it

Your email is seen by you, your email provider, and the people at the Association who read its inbox. This website itself never receives it.

Where it is stored and for how long

Emails you send are kept in the Association’s email account. The Association will decide how long enquiries are kept and delete them after that period. The retention period has not yet been set. The company that hosts this website may keep standard server logs, as most do; the hosting provider and its location will be confirmed by the Association before launch.

Your choices

You can ask the Association to show you the information you sent, correct it, or delete it, by writing through the contact page and by email. Please do not send information about other people unless they have agreed.

Photographs and stories

We will not publish identifiable photographs or personal stories of people the Association helps without their informed consent, and for children, a parent or guardian’s consent too.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version will be posted here.
